Why does my husband tell me he wants a Divorce and for me to leave THEN......?

When i go to leave or do leave he begs me not to leave but he runs off and stays gone and gets drunk and drives while i'm at home crying and worrying that i'm going to get a phone call he's in jail or dead. I know i dont need him and when i try to leave he begs and crys for me not to go. WHY DOES HE DO IT? I know i am good looking and i can get who ever i want but i dont want anyone other but him but he keeps brakin my heart. i'm just so confused and dont understand why he tells me to leave and then when i go to leave he begs me not to. has this happen to anyone?
