My two year crys for everything plz help!?

Hi I'm a mother of two i have a two year old and a five year old well i just need some parenting tips my five year old behaviour is somewhat better than my two year old, for example if where at the store my five year will ask for something and if i say no he understands with my two year old i have to take him out kicking and screaming and sometimes biting don't get me wrong he's a smart kid he's two years old and he already knows his alphabet, i just need some advise on his behaviour and fyi i don't believe in spanking so that's out of the question , can someone plz help me.
