What is a fedolfin? It's a local high school's mascot.?

An acedemically nationally ranked high school, Signiture School in Evansville, Indiana, uses that as their mascot, although they only have golf, tennis, and a few other "mind-exercising" sports. However most Sig students don't even know that fedolfin is their mascot. I live in Evansville but won't attend Sig and I found this on the Evansville, IN page on Wikipedia under education. Thanks.
