Sony Vegas video effects problems ?

OK so i just got sony vegas 9 but the thing is when i go on video effects i only have defocus , fill light glint , rays soft contrast and star burst. When i look on tutorials about sony vegas 9 i always see people have like where more things then i do ? Do i have to download extra add ons or am i not finding it ?
