I was born in Indiana when they didn't have DST, how does this effect my Ascendant?

There are still to this day lots of places that do not shift to daylight savings time. Stay with your real birth time and standard time. That is when you where born. Do not adjust to daylight, as where you were born it was not under that umbrella. That is the same as war time. Some places shifted to war time and other places did not.
