How does this sound...?

I like her personality (especially the cookie line :D). However, I have seen several ideas for this sort of "Scientist Forces Experimentation on Kids" plot idea. What makes yours special? How were they experimented on? Physically? Emotionally? Mentally? There tends to be very little plot line if all the characters are stuck in a laboratory and from these paragraphs I don't know much about what keeps the story going. What do they want (other than their histories)? How can they get it? Other than hundreds of scientists, is anything preventing them?
