Falconry question.. Lifestyle?

I am wondering whether I should pursue falconry? I am 16 years old and i live in indiana. (Male btw). I LOVE birds of prey and would like to consider falconry. I hate it when websites say falconry is a "lifestyle." How is it a lifestyle? How are you supposed to make a living with falconry!? Since I am in highschool, I didnt know how hard it would be to start doing falconry. Any answers would be GREATLY appreciated.
